Vision

The department of Vocal music initiates step to inculcate richness of carnatic vocal music among the first generation music learners. The dept. aims to train the students to become a performer and teacher of vocal music.

Mission

The dept. of vocal music focuses on voice culture enhancement. The dept gives chances to the students to flourish in composing. The dept. encourages the students through appreciation certificates to promote them in the nuances of carnatic music. Students are trained to present their talents through public performances.

Department Ethics

• Time management is strictly insisted during working hours.
• Students are asked to come in traditional dress code (uniform).
• Boy students are asked to maintain the disciplined hairstyle.
• Students are insisted to do practice apart from college hours.
• It is academic requirement for the final year students to perform the vocal concert before their last semester
• All the vocal students must come forward to sing in Morning Prayer.
• Both boys and girls should keep their nails cut and clear.
